how it began
Bridget and Steve met through mutual friends and bonded over a shared love of craft and all things handmade.
2024
interior design projects
Over the years, Bridget tapped Steve to create unique pieces for her interior design projects. Pictured here is a large live-edge stump coffee table for a home in Kings Beach.
2025
collection design process
In 2025, Bridget consilidated her favorite side and drink table designs she and Steve had made over the years, and designed a couple more to round out an initial collection.
2026
capsule launch party
In April 2026, Bridget Giroux Design launched its first furniture collection: a series of sculptural side tables inspired by the Sierra Nevada!
materials
The material that becomes our tables is always sourced sustainably from reclaimed wood with origins in the Lake Tahoe and High Sierras region.
These are handmade and organic objects. The natural character of each piece is what makes them so special.
Design
Our designs are material-led. We aim to showcase the beauty of each piece of wood, and add thoughtful textures or details to enhance the overall piece.
craftsmanship
The craftspeople we work with have decades of experience and deep wells of knowledge. They use innovative and traditional techniques in making our pieces.
Sustainability
All our furniture is made in small batches, and often completely made to order to reduce unnecessary waste.
